    Does the recommendation to not make clean unattached instances in FO4 still stand? I'm getting the occasional lag and while I've tried to be careful about uninstalls, I'm wondering if I may have things lurking in the background.

      There are definitely mods that volition break. During my first playthrough of FO4, when I was adding support to ReSaver, I tested that function. I lost access to the Sanctuary workshop and Sanctuary became unowned. The Journey mod also stopped working, and a few quests broke. Nothing critical (I was able to gear up Sanctuary using console commands and Journeying can be reset from its holotape).

      The problematic instances e'er seem to be from cadre game scripts like Form, InputLayer, Bulletin, etc. If you see those unattached, yous should probably leave them solitary. If yous meet an unattached example that is patently from a modern, it tin can probably exist safely removed.

      Equally always, the best thing is to try it out simply keep a backup salvage. Travel around and thoroughly test EVERYTHING. Check all your settlements, and brand sure that all of your of import mods are still working. Check if functioning has improved, but sentry for placebo effects.

    I managed to mess up my Fallout 4 workshop carte du jour, i think it started when I thought it'd exist a 'good idea' to move my game install folder to another bulldoze. I had problems with none of my mods loading and so I uninstalled all of them and did my best to clean install them. Along the way i lost some of the mod installers, so different versions were installed and I think some others got missed.

    I had a big complex settlement at Vault 88 that I had been working on so took a break to follow some of the master story quests. Fast forward many hours of gameplay, i returned to Vault 88 to work on the settlement and found my workshop carte du jour was missing items, most importantly for me, the Vault-Tec building components.

    I've loaded a much earlier gamesave with my current mod list and low-and-behold my workshop bill of fare is okay. Then thinking my trouble is now related to my newer gamesaves, I've tried a few mods which are supposed to restore my workshop menu, only no joy.

    I've seen your ReSaver tool before, and considered information technology a little scary for me, just I'g getting desperate. Do y'all accept any tips on how I might be able to clean up my workshop menu? Is at that place a way to take the part of my older working gamesave and patch it into my newer but somewhat broken gamesave?

    That skyrim save cleaner was robust enough to clean my original ripped Xbox 360 save game file, load it on PC, install 350+ mods and keep everything running smooth.

    Hullo, so recently, I've been having a problem where my Fallout 4 freezes whenever I try to save, no thing what I do. Evidently I need to exist able to relieve to continue playing, so I am trying to clean my most contempo relieve in order to see if that will work. I installed ReSaver and I but want to make certain I understand exactly what I am supposed to do to "clean" a salve. I remove unattached script instances, but is in that location anything else I am supposed to remove in social club to clean the save? Obviously I am not overwriting the original just in case information technology messes things upward, but I just want to make sure that in that location aren't whatsoever more than steps I'm missing. I'd be happy to send forth a copy of my save and my load order if this cleaning doesn't piece of work.

      That'south all you should do to a Fallout 4 save. In other games, yous tin remove undefined elements, but Mark has said that this is non safe in FO4 like it is in SSE, and y'all gamble breaking your salvage.

      Still, as long equally yous keep a backup of your "untouched" salve file, if removing unattached instances doesn't fix the problem you tin can always TRY (experimentally, knowing that the take chances of borking the salvage is high) to remove undefined elements.

      • Don't remove mods mid-playthrough. This simply means not to remove mods mid-playthrough
      • Resaver is not a cure-all merely instead is a last-ditch effort to resurrect a broken save

    I demand help to gear up my game. I am going for the minuteman ending against the Institute but one time I get by a certain betoken in the mission (in the sewers), every time I endeavor to save my game freezes. and I don't mean freeze for like 20 seconds or even a minute, I mean information technology freezes to the point where I have to strength shut downwards my computer to go command again. I've tried cleaning my save simply I have no thought what to do. Cleaning unattached instances isn't recommended, removing undefined elements isn't recommended, and then how am I supposed to use the tool to fix my game?

    I am genuinely wondering what I am supposed to practice at this point. Starting over isn't an option, I've already gotten too far. The only mode I could remove mods is if I could first off Figure OUT if a modernistic is causing the issue and B. remove it without screwing upwardly the save file since I'm not starting over again.
    Please, someone assistance me figure this out! Thanks

    Potential problems were identified In that location are 325 unattached instances.
    At that place are 926 stacks and 1044 frames, which probably indicates a problem.
    PackAttackNPCScript occurs the near often (995 occurrences)

    I copied that straight out of the program as y'all tin can judge. I went ahead and followed the directions and cleaned the orphaned instances.
    Question is, what is that 2d function nigh stacks and frames and is it something i demand to also try to fix since it says it probably indicates a trouble?
    Also should I uninstall PackAttack since information technology seems to be causing problems?

    Hello lads!

    A problem occured! My hero stopped recieving any blazon of impairment. Last transmission save have no this problem, only last manual salve was washed 10 gameplay hours before. Whatsoever Ideas???

    ReSaver identified where my problem lied even tho it was not able to open the save. Java Heap space error. Savefile suddenly spiked from around 8MB to 150 then 250 on the side by side salve a few hours ago. Whatsoever way to allocate more ram to the ReSaver as it seem to be capped at 240MB of ram? Simply to identify what caused the issue. It's throwing the Coffee Heap Space fault at me and cant open the salve..

    Posting this hither in case anyone else has the aforementioned issue I did: I was getting an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION from Coffee when trying to run FallrimTools. Checked the error log and it said the problematic frame was at d3d9.dll.

    The solution was to shut MSI afterburner and Rivatuner, then FallrimTools could launch fine.

    Im having a problem with robotics expert afterwards cleaning a save where when I press R to hack the robot it immediately initiates self destruct without even having selected the option. Tin I send you my relieve so y'all could mayhap take a expect at it?
